So narshasism and I went to a party last night. Clearly we are too old to deal with drunk white teenagers.
Seriously. There is no one I appreciate more than my friends, and they know who they are. They’ve seen me at my worst when I’ve been hospitalized for alcohol poisoning. And they’ve seen me at my lowest of the low when I became a victim of sexual assault earlier this year. Whenever I had gotten kick out of my house, all of them had offered me a place to stay and rest, constantly worried if I was alright.
This post is about you lovely folks in which I am the luckiest girl to have ever met you all. I just want to say thank you for everything you have ever done for me, and the sanctuaries you have all provided. Thank you for answering my texts at 3 AM when I was in distress. Thank you for letting me eat all your Nutella and cereal every time I come over. Thank you for the countless laughs I’ve had the privilege of sharing with you. And most of all, thank you for showing me that I am worth more than I ever thought I was worth.
I love you all so much, more so than I can put into words.
